Finished

 I have finished my 'Lovely in Lace Stitch' jumper from the 1930s. 

the pattern didn't call for a button shoulder but the neck looked a bit small for a 21st century head

The pattern called for 2 3/4 & 3 1/4 mm needles and 3ply yarn. I scaled up by using  Stylecraft acrylic double knit (about 400g, I think) in a very 30s shade of 'camel', on 3 1/2 and 4 mm needles. So it came out with a chest measurement of 38" not 34", although you can probably tell that this pattern has quite a bit of stretch. I made it 13" from underarm to waist, although some of the length would be lost if it was stretched across the chest.

All in all, very happy with how this knit turned out. Not so happy with the different colours my camera thinks it should be!
